Yes, I've slowed down significantly especially with the continued delay of my test. However, while waiting for our table at Bar Crudo, we stopped next door for a drink. I originally wanted a martini, but when I noticed the bartender's slow pace and the bar's Cash Only sign, I figured I should go for the $4 Newcastle on tap. Conserve cash and conserve time -- I still had to take a cab home.

$7.75 for a pint of Newcastle and a bottle of Kronenburg. Not bad! However, when I put my $20 bill down, the bartender took a while to claim it...and then didn't give me any change. He gave money to another couple who said it wasn't theirs, and I had to holler that it was my change he was holding. To top it off, I had to do the math for him and tell him how much he owed me. Not a very good bartender, I must say.

However, the ambiance was nice and cozy. I like the giant door and we had a great seat at the bar, right next to the window overlooking the tunnel top and the street below.

Would I come back? Yes, but only on a day when I have more patience.
