My first bar on the way to 50! Only 49 more to go...
Not bad for the first bar of the year. Pretty small with 4 maybe 5 small tables/seating areas and bar stools secured to the ground, so no movement. So, if it gets crowded, be prepared to stand. Music was pleasant and not too loud, so we could talk. For a midweek cocktail, I was quite pleased.
As the bar name suggests (The Red Room), redness everywhere. The wall of red bottles upon entrance is fun. Pretty mixed crowd as lan said in our age demographic, but definitely some questionable attire. I went with a scotch on the rocks, so that's hard to mess up. But, it did hit the spot that night. Lan & Hubert's dirty martinis were tasty (albeit made with vodka and not gin).
Overall, a cute little lounge with potential for an intimate VIP cocktail party. (Parking wasn't too bad either.)
