I thought I'd been here before, but I guess not. The bartender was incredibly slow and never sped up even when the bar filled up (half were our folks). I had a $9 hot buttered rum that I didn't like much. It was raining, but I left in search of some dinner.

Edit: Shortly after this posting, someone from Elixir IM'd me, offering to make good on my poor experience. I actually didn't have a really bad experience--definitely not the kind that makes me swear I'll never go back. We'll be back. My only comment was that the bartender didn't seem to care that everyone was waiting for a beer. However, she was nice. We'll be back...if I lived in the neighborhood, it would be my Pig & Whistle replacement. I also appreciate their PR efforts.

Not liking the hot buttered rum had nothing to do with the bar or the bartender. Its a drink I've never ordered before, tried, and will never order again.
